Find out about my Regehr ancestry.

David Regehr (c. 1835-c.1917) and Katharina nee Warkentin (c.1835-1924) are my great-great-great-grandparents.

They had six children:

   1. Anna Regehr (1857-1923) married Jacob Fast (1855-1928)

   2. Sarah Regehr (1862-1933) married Gerhard J. Wiens (1859-1904)

   3. Maria Regehr (1864-1901) married Nikolai H. Schmidt (1861-1930)

   4. Johann Regehr (c.1866-1926) married Anna Sawatzky (c.1868-1924)

   5. Elisabeth Regehr (c.1869-1927) married Heinrich W. Reimer (c.1865-c.1935)

   6. Helena Regehr (1876-1912) married Herman Neufeld (1858-1900) and Nicolai H. Schmidt (1861-1930)

Regehr Book

I authored a book on three generations of the David Regehrs, entitled The Shepherd David and His Flock: The David and Katharina Regehr Family of Steinbach, Molotschna, 1835.

The book is available in North America at a cost of $25 including shipping. See the Table of Contents.

A second edition is in the works. If you would like to order a book or have information or photos to contribute, please email me.
