Ukraine Trip 2007

The Mennonite Heritage Cruise 2007, organized by Walter and Marina Unger, traced the Dnieper river, starting in Kiev and ending in Odessa. Stops along the way included the former Chortitza and Molotschna colonies. I was among the passengers.

Although most of the thousands of Mennonite houses and other structures in these colonies are gone, it is surprising how many are still standing. For posterity, GPS co-ordinates are listed for some points of interest.
